RF-welded vinyl shell — not nylon. Nylon pouches stiffen in the cold, absorb moisture, and add unnecessary bulk. The DTK-2's RF-welded vinyl is fully waterproof, stays pliable in any condition, and holds its form under ballistic compression. It replaced the traditional nylon pouch entirely.
