Awesome, can you adjust the specs/thread title? I already have my F1 pending with 10.5...so that's what I, and the other people in the industry thread, have been waiting for. I'll share everywhere that I can think of so we can make this happen... |

It provides a seamless transition from rail to supressor (AAC, Surefire) with a 9.5" Geissele or DD MK18 RAS rail. There's plenty of 10.5 LW barrels on the market, not nearly enough 10.3", which is in demand. |

If I am going to tap into my stripper education fund for another project it better be for a hotness that no one else is making. While you are at reduce the gas port to .073. |

Personally I think 10.5 is the better option. Ultralight guy doesn't have a rail going to the threads anyway...to heavy. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Updated, 10.3" with a .073" gas port. Currently at 9 8 barrels spoken for. If you claimed one anywhere else without sending me a message or email, I didn't count it. I'm only counting what's explicitly stated in this thread or a personal message. |

hey JA, can you post an email address so that I can refer non-arfcommers directly to you for this? nm, I'm an idiot who skims the OP and asks dumb questions. ![]()
more intelligent question: I presume people are gonna run adjustable gas blocks with these. Wouldn't you want a larger diameter gb hole and tune things with the gb? |

We can add the dimple for a small added cost. |

Going from 16 to 14.5" cuts 1.6oz on faxon pencils. That's 1.06666oz per inch. So a 10.3 should be just a bit over 13oz, unless my math skills have deteriorated even more than I think. Man. With a TI GB and a short carbon fiber rail, this is gonna be anti-front heavy! Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
| A cylinder of .550" diameter that's 4.2" has a volume of 1 cubic inch. The volume of the bore is roughly 0.17 cubic inches, so that leaves the portion cut off at 0.83 cubic inches. According to aqua-calc the weight of that amount of steel is 3.79 ounces. So 13.81 ounces. But to err on the conservative side, until we get an official weight from Faxon I'm estimating around 15 ounces. |
