Arisaka Type 99 Late war Transitional Model. Beautiful deep-struck mum, matching bolt, bright shiny bore. This gun has no provision for a monopod, and does not have the anti-aircraft sight wings. It does have the cleaning rod, and the bolt handle knob is the late-war cylindrical shape.
Overall condition is better than "very good". Ordinary service dings on the stock. No rust anywhere that I can see.
