I'm running a 26" M3000 with a 9 shot extension which puts the overall length of the shotgun out about 56" What are guys using for cases for these things? I haven't been able to find much of anything for transporting it in. Thinking about putting a 7 shot Nordic tube on it with a 2 shot extension on that to get my 9 back but easier to remove the two so it fits in a standard case. Thoughts? Solutions?
Second question is kind of silly but does anyone run with a glove on their left hand? I seem to have a habit of letting my left hand slip off the fore grip when trying to load quads and that flipping barrel can be a hot mother. |

Safariland's 3 Gun bag. I have had one for two years and it fits my 26" Versmax just fine. The +9 may be a problem.

Midway USA sniper drag bag. It carries all 3 of my guns.
Bag here I use it with my 24" JM Pro with XRail attached and have plenty of room. For the barrel getting hot: I use adhesive Velcro that you can get at Walmart. Use the soft side of the Velcro and apply it to the first 12 or so inches of the barrel. That'll keep the heat from getting to your hands. |

I've seen several shooters using a left glove on shotgun heavy stages. Like 40 steel targets, in less than two minutes. (Top guys were around 85 seconds) Yeah, stuff gets hot!
Golf gloves seem to be popular, I refer to them as Michael Jackson shooters. My left hand never changes grip when I come off cheek weld to reload stronghand and on the longer stages, I end up loading from both sides anyways. Don't think I could load with gloves. I can't speak to storage of that long stick. Damn, 56"! I'd probably just unscrew the extension and figure out a way to store the spring |

I use this case for my M2 with a +9 tube. Your Stoeger with a +9 will be a couple-three inches longer than my M2 though, since the factory Stoeger tube is longer than an M2 tube.
