I have a Rival and a Rival-S that I want to get a nice race holsters for. The catch is I like to go shooting with a night vision group, so I need a light. I know, I know. I'm trying to be less poor and just get nods |
| When you say race holster, do you mean something like the DAA Alpha, Racer X and so on? Because that probably won't exist. They use the trigger guard for the "retention". You could check with a place like Ghost and see if they make anything. But not sure if you're gonna find a race holster, or what I consider a race holster to be used with a light. |
| I use a redhill tactical kydex holster with a throw lever. When the lever is flipped, its basically a gun bucket with zero friction. When the lever is "locked" it has decent retention, but it can still be drawn through... I wouldnt use it for run and gun, or anything like that though. |
