I'm thinking of picking up a shotgun for competitions and mostly goose hunting in southern Minnesota. I'm looking at the CZ1012 and I'm wondering if there is a magazine extension that is compatible with it on the market that will increase the capacity. |

Not sure about the CZ specifically, but in my experience they all have similar threads, it’s just a matter of finding out which thread the CZ matches too, and sometimes modifying the end of the mag tube. There are some good videos on YT about modding Tristar, ATA, and a bunch of others. Edit: just looked it up, it’s probably a Benelli thread. |

That's where I was headed. Is there a limit on the capacity allowed for competition? I'm pretty new to the competition stuff. I'm pretty sure that theres no limit on capacity where I would end up shooting. I'll double check before buying anything though. Great advise thanks. |

If this were not the case, then 922(r) would be essentially worthless: import in a legal configuration and then convert to an illegal configuration. |

So like with an AK, change the choke (muzzle device), magazine follower, mag spring, the mag end cap( which you are already replacing with the tube), and your remaining parts are the receiver, bolt, barrel, stock, fore-end, trigger group, recoil assembly, and... which is less than 10. ?? |
