Going to my first match and wondering when the use of slugs would be required?
Have this on my Reminton 1100. Would it be considered a speed loading device? Daves Metal works |

Slug targets are identified in the stage description.
That part is not considered a "speed loading device". It does not assist in loading 2 or more shells at a time into the shotgun. Detachable magazines or tube-type speed loaders that load 2 or more shells at a time are what they are prohibited in all divisions except open. |

Jeremy is making slugs a routine part of every match. We are usually shooting 2 to 8 slug targets per match. He's thrown in a few "buckshot only" steel targets too. This variation really makes you think when you are loading your shotgun. |

This variation really makes you think when you are loading your shotgun. If they were still up North I would be there every month. The 2014 location is about 1.5 hours past my driving distance. That being said I think I am going to do less traveling for big matches and more shooting the local scene next year. I am hoping to make 2-3 of the NTMG matches. |
