Thinking outside the box here. Has anyone tried repurpose a tripod that was originally used in shooting grades on elevation for dirt work. I can’t remember exactly what the job title would be. Using a dirt contractor tripod and adding your own head on it to suit your needs for shooting off tripod. I have an old but in great shape Bosch BT152 contractor tripod and am curious if anyone else has repurposed one similar to this. I am always trying to find other uses out of gear that I already have.
