I met someone awhile ago who had purchased a holster for their Glock and surefire X300U that looked like a traditional kydex retention holster you’d get from any “custom kydex” shop. But… it had the SLS thumb lever release on it. It was the actual branded Safariland system and he said they basically strip the components off the Safariland and put it into the mold and you have a slimmer easier to conceal lvl 1 holster. I forgot the name he mentioned (awhile ago, 3-4 years) and I don’t have his contact info. Quick google searches I can’t find em. Did they get sued? Did they go under? Did they stop doing it? Anyone know the company? I kinda wanna grab one for a new pistol. The benefit was an easier to conceal, slimmer, holster that had the same release as my duty setup and having some retention. |

| I have one of these from Midwest Tactical Solutions. Mine came with safariland branded parts. I wouldnt say its smaller or slimmer than the safarliand 6000 series, I wanted a combination that safariland doesn't or didn't offer at the time. That being G21 w/509T & TLR-1 HL. |
