Anyone had any experience with these? I shot my first 2 gun match this past weekend and discovered 2 gun is codeword for "twice as much pistol work" gun. Anyway, was thinking of giving the 3-gun a try and wanted to get a decent shotgun for it. Thanks in advance. |

I have one
You have one awesome shotgun and it won't let you down. Not looking to start a pissing contest about why it's better than the other competition shotgun. The Benelli is a fine shotgun. Like everything in life, there are pros and cons concerning the Benelli vs FN SLP In my opinion, the FN wins. I'd rather just leave it at that |

I had a FN SLP, was not a great shotgun. Picky on ammo, needed springs replaced at least twice a year. No matter what you did it would act up every so often in a match. I bought a Beretta 1301, that shot gun just runs and runs. Hit it with some CLP is all I do on it. The Gen 2 is even better Beretta moved the serial number to allow the port to be opened more. Beretta just came out with a 1301 Pro, about $400 more but just about everything is done to it. Go check out Brian Enos Forum, it is mostly serious shooters there. |
