| A little over whelming when buying my first scope. Need something no more than 6x with red dot. Currently using Comp M4s. |

Primary Arms has a 1-6X , I went to it from the Burris MTac 1-4
The Burris glass is the best you can buy for the money. I have not seen better/clearer glass for 3X the $$ The PA scope is very nice, reticle is a little better for 3Gun applications, clarity is very good. The lighted reticle , I haven't used either one in actual use, but the Burris one was near impossible to operate, wouldn't turn off 80% of the time. PA operation is good. The Burris was good enough I wouldn't have switched , except I need the 1-6X VS the 1-4X |

Mine never worked, hard to turn on, button may work to change brightness with one click, may take 3-4, wouldn't turn off. It worked fine for me out to 500 as well , when I first got it, then OLD AGE started catching up to me, I decided I needed a little more magnification.

In the Burris line, I love the XTR-14 over the MTAC. I think SWFA finally got some more Gen1's in at closeout price of $599, including a FastFire III and PEPR mount. So a $900 package for $600.
