Tried posting this in GD - not a lot of response. Thought I'd try here:
Have a friend who lives in KY who talked me into it few months ago - I had a blast.This was super laid back/fun. Was humbled by a younger shooter. Loved it. Steel Challenge, but less interesting. This blurb on the site doesn't bode well either: "Metal Madness teaches:Sight alignment - once a sight picture is acquired, we teach the competitor to keep the sight aligned while moving the firearm. Trigger control - keeping the finger in contact with the trigger is important to a smooth movement and target transition." |

For every asshole there are a few thousand good guys, even if they aren't saying much. Other than Self Defense situation, any time you are shooting is a good time. A timer just makes it more interesting. Some guys will act unimpressed even if you can shit legit gold bricks on command. Welcome to competition shooting sports, stick around and enjoy. |
