I see these giving people a hard time at matches frequently, here's how to shoot them:

| Great video! Have you compared the difference in spinning it with a tactical division shotgun? I'm wondering about single shot to top then bottom then too again with a 3 shell reload vs a double tap to top double tap to bottom and another double tap to spin it with a 6 round reload? |

That might be a good reloading drill to practice. But I'd give the same advice to tube fed shotgunners too; fully load before you start engaging it. If you pause to reload you can lose all the momentum you had going. These things are worth 30 or 60 seconds in penalties for failure to spin at most matches, so it's worth the time to make it happen either way. Last year they had 2 of these next to each other on some stages and that presented the possibility of getting them both going at the same time if you were fast enough. |
| I wasn't suggesting reloading until after the star. I meant you can spin a spinner in 2-3 shots at 12 yards. But you gotta wait on it. Is it advantageous to shoot twice the rounds to spin it faster then give some of that time back reloading extra rounds or use the minimum rounds to get it over then make up time only loading 2-3 rounds afterwards? |

Inside about 15 yards you can spin it in sub 2 seconds with 3 shots from a shotgun with regular birdshot.
Bottom-bottom, wait for backside of top plate to show, then hit it. It usually is right about 1.8 seconds. OR you can just use a RB^3 shell and blow the whole thing over with one shot. |
