Buying a barrel for my nephew as he wants to build a 3 gun/ general hunting rifle. This will be a Christmas present and he really liked shooting my Larue equipped guns. Would the 18” PredatAR fit the bill? I’m not privy to the 3 gun world but my real world results for those barrels are outstanding to me. He’s in Cheyenne in the Air Force and he gets to play with much more fun stuff which he rubs in my face  but he is looking to have some more fun out there. Thanks for any help...the other barrel I was looking at was a couple Ballistic Advantage barrels also.

| Thanks for the comments so far. This won’t strictly be a 3 gun-gun but will be used in it. More like a semi purpose built rifle id I imagine. He’s never shot 3 gun so if he didn’t like it I figure he’d at least have a damn decent barrel for whatever else as well. Like I said, I know jack....and shit....about 3 gun. Trying to keep the barrel cost down, but obviously not bottom barrel. That JP stuff I assume is top shelf and commands a premium with it? |
