| My new M3K will get here Friday. Those of you that have one, what length extension are you running on it? I'm guessing a +6 will sit about flush? |

| Thanks guys. I took mine out last weekend to start getting it broke in. It ate up 125 cheap Wally world Federals, 5 slugs and 5 rounds of buckshot without a single hitch. I am extremely happy with it so far. I ended up going with a +8 Nordic tube. That way I can drop 4 at the buzzer and hold 13 total. |

Good choice. I've been thinking about ditching my +6 for a +8 for the same reason. If I do I might give the Taccom tube a try.

| I shot my first 3 gun match a couple of weeks ago. The only guns that consistently choked were the 930's. There was one guy with a M3000 that was having trouble with low recoil slugs. My M3K worked great with Walmart Federal bulk packs & Federal 1350 1oz slugs. |

| Read several articles and watched a bunch of videos, I want one. It appears a follower and extractor are needed. The extractor ...couldn't that be solved with a little touch up with a file? |

That's what I've read, they can be touched up. Or spend $10 and get a Benelli extractor and drop it in. I've shot nothing but Walmart Federal bulk through mine with zero extraction issues. I haven't touched my extractor at all. |

| The "Stoeger Guru" Tom Hart at www.moaprecision.com has a little write up on the BE M3000 thread that basically says if you just drop a Benelli extractor in you are band-aiding the problem. Clean up the extractor pocket on the bolt with a file, the most time consuming part of the whole process is getting the extractor retaining pin out. |

I'm very happy with it so far. I shot my first ever match two weeks ago. I finished 14th out of 24 overall and 11th out of 20 in Practical. I actually had the 8th best time on the second stage I shot. Considering it was the first time I've ever shot in a competition I was pretty happy. I'm already entered in two more matches this month Nice start! Very addicting sport, but I'm sure you'll enjoy every minute of it. I picked up my m3k last fall; they were back-ordered everywhere, but happened to find one on the shelf. Got to shoot 1 match last fall with it and then just some clays as weather and schedule allowed. Been a great gun so far. We were supposed to have our first match of the season on Sunday, but half the range is under water. |

The cheek pad/riser I bought is perfect. No more pain.
Today, I was breaking clays, shooting steel, and pounding paper targets with buckshot and slugs with mine. I've run target, game, buckshot, low recoil slugs, and traditional slugs. Each round has worked perfectly. This gun is outstanding. I have an extended tube on the way. |

| Just took the M3k to the range today. I bought a bunch of cheap, heavy loads to try and get the shotgun working but ran into a problem feeding the next round. The first few rounds went okay then i started to run into issues with the shotgun not feeding the next round. The rounds would eject and fire without a problem, but for some reason it wouldn't extract the next round from the tube into the chamber area. Anyone have issues with this? (hope i wrote this enough to make sense, i'm multitasking right now) |

I used the same bulk buy Winchesters from Walmart. I'm going to try and thorough clean of it and see how it goes. I did install a Nordic +5, but left 16.5" of slack spring in the off chance it wouldn't eject the round; maybe it has something to do with it being under to much spring pressure? |

Touched it up with a file and paper. Took longer to get the extractor out than to touch it up. Ran to the range, pushed a handful of the problem ammo through without issue. Ran cheap Federal (3 dram) for yesterday's match and didn't have a hiccup all day. Guns are all working well. Might need a little refinement on my 9mm loads as I had a few FTFs. Maybe a little polishing too. Glad the shotty is working. Time to focus on executing stage plans now. Had a few FTEs yesterday. |

After my match 2 weeks ago I sent my M3K home with Tom @ MOA Precision. I had him do it up. The mag is now polished, a trigger job ( about 3 lbs, almost no creep, with zero overtravel) and I had him hog the load port open. It's like a whole new gun now!
