I have heard conflicting things on if the BH rolling thunder comp is tactical division legal. I shoot Tac optics and have no interest in shooting open class. I have one on my rifle, but have yet to shoot any major matches with it yet.
I ask this because only up until a little while ago, the Brownells site even said it was and open class comp. http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/barrel-parts/compensators/ar-15-m16-ar-style-308-benny-hill-rolling-thunder-compensator-prod26977.aspx I checked now and they took that part off. I know the general rule is no more than 3" long and 1" diameter, but i could see someone saying since the comp is 3.5" overall and not measure from the muzzle, I would get thrown into open. Anyone have any problems with this? Whole gun-
