After almost 30 years of shooting matches, this year is the first time I’ve shot matches scored by hit factor vs time plus, and I hate it. Here’s an example, small steel plate match on Saturday scored by hit factor. I finished 3rd, 2nd if you throw out the PCC. Winner had 5 more misses than I did and only beat me by 7 seconds. In time plus scoring those 5 misses would be an additional 25 seconds. Anyone else struggle throwing caution to the wind and just shoot fast in hit factor matches? Attached File |
