If your new to the sport of 3 Gun/ Multi Gun there are some excellent videos out there (along with information found on the web) that will help you get set up for the game. These are tips and suggestions from some leaders and legends in the game, it is by no means the "final say" to how you should set up your equipment however it is a very good guideline from some very very good shooters. In the end you will have to determine what works best for you. These videos are a great starting point. I just watched the Noveske Team video you did and it was good, especially for those new to the sport. One thing I thought was strange was the chamber empty carry with the pistol. I saw Rob putting the shotgun up and drawing and racking his pistol in a few quick motions. I have never been at a match that required you to start chamber empty in the holster. I have seen it on table starts. I liked how you talked about racking the bolt on the AR as you take it out of the barrel. I may have to buy a third K9 for the bottom of the handguard as I see that is how your rifles are set up. I am still working on the right placement on the forend. Last match I used it but it was slower for me because I had to move back to get the K9 on the barricade. Anyway great video and I recommend it. I also like how you talked about fitness. Three gun was part of the reason I have made an effort to get back into shape. I was tried of getting out of breath on longer rifle stages. I have dumped 70 pounds so far with 28 more to go.
