Hi, has anyone built a "mutant" to a race ready riffle to 3gun of type competition in 7.62x39 caliper? I asked from the CMMG and they only said that is ready out of box... I have not received the riffle yet (300 resolute with 16,1" barrel) but I have as on old stock of new parts like Bushmaster / Kyntec hydraulic buffers, plenty of different buffer springs. I have a JP clickable gas port in my JP riffle and I though acuiring a same gasport for the CMMG. I have an old M4-72 muzzle brake out of my Sig716 but it really blows the gases towards the shooter, so I will get a new muzzle brake like Unrivaled or something similar. Is the 7.62/39 gashole the same size as it is in a similar 223 riffle? Can I use the 0.750" gasport with CMMG Mutant? Should I use heavy buffer due to heavy BCG. Any input would be greatly appreciated. |
