Quick question: Can a shooter use 30 Carbine in Tac Irons? I have an older guy at my club that is in love with his M1 Carbine and wants to use it. LOL, I can't really blame him. it is a nice rifle.

Yes. There is no rule prohibiting it, although it might get frustrating at longer distances. If the match is close range, it could be a good choice - we had three used in a recent "run what ya brung" rifle match at our range (although none of them ran 100%).

Yeah, we're only shooting about 75 to 100 yards. He is not real competitive, just nostalgic. It is my Dad, LOL. Thanks
