After the hydro dip, I used an airbrush to fill in the missing details as best as possible. |

For hydroprint purposes they were probably the best design available at the time. |

I'll admit in the picture the red doesn't look red, and on the yellow, you can't see it very well, but it says "We the people". I was trying to go with the old scroll look. But this rifle looks so much better in person than the picture. Yes, you could wear down the hydro dip or paint when putting on or taking off the accessories. My suggestion, especially for the sights, once they are on, leave them alone. |

IS it the color in particular, or the hydro dip design that makes it unappealing to you? What would you prefer if you went with a hydro dip? I also paint with Gun Kote. I like their color selection. Also, a good, durable coating would be the Aluma-Hyde II. |

I do appreciate the work that went into this and also appreciate the concept. What is your end goal here? It looks like you are intending to market these (to which I applaud you if that's the case)? Or, are you sharing your art (which, I also applaud)? Simple questions on my part so comments can be directed accordingly. I'm an untalented lunkhead, so only have rough looking knocked about AR's, zero artistic talent and thus have nothing of value to add regarding the look. My opinion is not worth anything. |
