| I have a FP peq15 and a somogear peq15 for a 22 trainer setup. Compared to the real deal the ir laser on the somogear is way too bright. Even on low power under nods it causes a weird "ghosting" effect. I'm worried it's going to damage my tubes. Does anyone know of an easy way to get the laser even lower? Like a pattern generator but it blocks out some the light? |

Look for guys 3d printing different diffuser caps. I got one for a different laser that worked nicely, don’t think that brand makes them for a peq style though. For the laser it’s more of a pinhole cover. Theoretically simple to diy, but probably tricky to get just right. I feel your pain though, some of the Chinese stuff has way too much power in the laser with no way to dial it down (for my needs) |
