I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Ruger to make them available. Back in the day a company called PMI made nickel plated mags for the Ruger Mini 14 that actually worked VERY well. I had several of their 30 round mags and never had a single issue. I just googled it and PMI made 20 round ones as well. Although the company went out of business years ago, their mags are still floating around for sale on the internet FWIW. Attached File |
| I'd just buy the regular factory mag and not worry about it. Back in the day, Ruger never made any silver colored mags and you could have any color you want as long as it was black oxide. As mentioned all the mags on the A-Team were Precision Mags. Not sure if those new ones are nickel or hard chromed plated. If you must have silver mags, I would send the mag body and floor plate off to Mahovsky's Metalife and have them plated with Metalife Hard Chrome Plating. |

Ruger is now publicly owned and is not beholden to its founder's stupidity. |
