Otherwise, it kinda sucks compared to any AR15 stock; the QD's aren't rotation limited, it tends to rattle a bit, and it's fairly short, I have to fully extend it for a comfortable LOP. The stock height is also fairly short, which is nice if you've got really bulky body armor, I guess. Cheek weld is only marginally better than that of the skeleton stocks, I find myself partway off the stock and onto the I-beam. A magpul DT on Sig's folding buffer tube is much more stable and comfortable while only adding ~1/2" in width when folded. |

I have nearly every SIG stock, going back to the Kate Moss. The Minimalist is kind of short, so I tend to use it only on my Rattler. I prefer the length of the Minimalist Plus. Attached File The telescoping / folding is pretty good compromise between comfort, compactness, and functionality. Attached File The folding/telescoping with the MagPul stock is the most comfortable, but also the most bulky. Attached File Shop around, these can be found at better prices than the SIG website. Proven Arms is a good place to look. |
