Had my M57 for several years and only fired it a couple times with no issues. However..if there’s a live round in the chamber and you try to unload by cycling the slide the tip of the live round catches on the front edge of the ejection port and wedges there. Doesn’t matter how careful I am about taking the slide back all the way to give max clearance for the round. . Can’t pull the bolt any further back..forced to pop the clip and pull the slide off to get it free. Using PPU round nose and hollow point which is the only ammo I have for it. I’d like to sell it but don’t want to pass off a potentially dangerous situation to an unknowing buyer. Is this common? Pretty tedious disassembling with a live round wedged between the bolt and ejection port. Otherwise cycles fine when shooting. Thanks Tom |
