I saw one this weekend at a large swap meet. It was $850. It was still there at closing time. It made me flinch a bit, but it had that ugly as hell cross bolt safety that Winchester used. It isn't as easy to hide as the Marlin cross bolt. I passed. Rifle was in pretty good shape. |

I had the HOTS for a Trapper for years. Finally traded into one with top eject, no safety, no rebounding hammer, like new. Traded it away almost immediately. Terrible to actually shoot. Balance offhand sucked. Hard to shoot accurately and recoil with my 170s was stout. The standard 20” is so much nicer. |
| I have an early 94AE Trapper without the crossbolt safety. Makes a great truck gun! Shoulders great, easy to shoot, recoil is nothing since it's just a .30-30. I have a second, earlier 94 non-AE but it came with canted sights so tucked it away as a parts gun should I ever need them. Paid $650 for one amd less for the other and that was about as I figured was reasonable. |

I love my 94AE Trapper. I had a threaded barrel extension added and blended so I could put an asr mount on it to run the suppressors.Attached File |
