It’s one of the smaller BF series Calling safe moving companies and it’s like they don’t want the business. I’m thinking pry bars and shims to get over bolts that are in floor 1st.and then something like this? Need to move out of 1st floor no steps. Probably just the wife and I to move it. | That might be overkill if the area is flat. A dozen three foot lengths of 1" schedule 80 PVC pipe sequentially put under it will roll or slide it across a floor or golf balls in a hula hoop will act like a big roller bearing if it is on a hard floor. You can even go over door jambs with PVC pipe on each side. I set a 1200# safe in a house with a front end loader and slid it across the carpet like it was a football sled |

I did the pvc pipe with mine. Mine was around 725 lbs. Also if you can take the door off it makes it easier to move. That dolly should work. When I first bought it I had to move it into a walk out basement. Door off and put the safe on its back and rolled it on 3" pvc pipe. Getting down the ramp, off the truck was shady as hell with the dolly. I've since moved it 4 times. On a flat surface in the garage I use plastic furniture sliders on the corners to slide it around. Your's is probably too beefy to do that without help. Other option to to pay someone with the right equipment to do it. Good luck. Jim |

I have called up a local locksmith/safe vendor before and just asked them. They have guys who do that for a living. It didn't cost as much as that thing you've linked. When I moved, I just yolo'd it myself. Pry bar to get it a couple inches off the ground, then an appliance dolley to roll it around and over things and up into my trailer. |

Thanks for the replies Yes I tried calling the pro’s and no response back or it’s too little of a job, been trying fir months and now I’m down to a couple weeks. Going to order that dolly I guess Bummer is safe is bolted down in a corner. So maybe some 3” pvc |

The heavy duty appliance dollies are cheaper and might work. If you have tool rental places nearby, you might see if you can just rent one instead of buying. Northern Tools dolly |

I've moved them a few times. There was one exciting time when a chain broke pulling it up the stairs out of the basement. Dowels would be the cheapest. The broom handle size. The slickest is a piano dolly, similar to what's in your picture, but the ones I've used where made of wood. One time I borrowed one from the local school. A couple other times I've rented them. |

If they are non carpeted floors, get a blanket under it and it’s super easy to drag across the floors with a second person. The local safe guy I have used a few times uses 1in steel rod, pry bar to lift up and used a push/ pull pallet dolly. He only to get off the trailer and across the driveway. |
