I know they are verboten in GD, but DackOutdoors has never not shipped my order (although it is always slow). But they are having a clearance on Hornady right now, so i just picked up a bunch of reloading bullets for easily 40 to 50% off each box. Also if you add something from their Dack Deals, it ships free. Example: I just bought a S&W 629 .44 Mag. I bought 2 speedloaders for 8.33 (marked down from 16.66) from the Dack Deals to unlock free shipping. Then two boxes of Hornady 44280 XTP 44 Calibre 300 Grain Hollowpoints 50 per box. 2 Boxes for 33.74 total. I assume this is a steal. 5 Boxes 75 ELD match .224 bullets 23.85 a box (500 rounds for 119.25) and 240 GR Hollow Points, 100 round box .44 Mag for 27.18.. I think this was a screaming deal for some new bullets from Hornady. |

The only thing I noticed is the price had gone up, and I think they couldn't get it after 30 days of waiting, without taking a loss. The item they cancelled was the main reason I placed the order. I won't order from them again and consider them dishonest. They charge your card and wait a month to ship, hoping they can still find the item to drop ship after 30 days. If it goes out of stock or the price increases, your out of luck. They will still ship the rest of your order however, with no reduction in shipping cost. |

Roger. I have not had that happen, but this is my first time with Hornaday bullets, so fingers crossed. Thank you for the additional information. I'm not set up really to reload .44 anyway at the time, so even if some of them do get cancelled, its not a big loss. (I buy mostly factory ammo). |

amErican Reloading has the known good Wolf SRM primers on sale for 5 cents a piece, delivered. they are Muron branded, but those are the guys who made the Wolf ones, just House brand. and if you order 10,000 (2 units), they drop the price down to the 5 cent mark. no tax, no shipping costs, no CC fee's Even though the future looks good, it seems unlikely you'll find better than 5 cents (in hand) a primer again, for good ones. and who knows how long Am Rel will continue to get away with no-tax. (It was the R's/Trump era who imposed that, in fact) |
