| With all the changes we have been seeing with the NFA tax stamps, and now the ATF is getting rid of the NFA with suppressors, SBRs, and SBS’s. I think I have waited long enough to get a couple of suppressors for my firearms. I have two AR platform rifles; one is 5.56 NATO, and the other is a 9mm. So my question for you is what brand should I go with and why? |

I'll also add; I'm very happy with my Rugged Obsidian 9. It was purchased primarily for my roller lock 9mm guns (MP5 clones). It's fantastic for my other pistols as well, and it did great in long config and their Tri lug mount on the roller locks. Being able to disassemble to clean and inspect is a huge plus. Standard cci 115gr bulk and no hearing protection resulted in little to no (new) ringing in my ears.  As a side note, Pistols and a suppressor =  I have this flinching thing I have to deal with, first shots with a can. I found myself anticipating a "bang". No bang = no flinch?!  Wtf is what I said. My Deagle .50 needs one of those new threaded barrels I'm being taunted with. For science and stuff

For 5.56 if you want short and light with awesome sound mitigation go with the Irregular Design Hesychia 556 UK. At this point, in the last few months I’ve purchased: -OCL Lithium (awesome direct thread option) -OCL Infinity 762 (will mount on my .308s, adjustable end cap for use on my ARs and other higher power centerfire stuff) -OCL Titanium (.22 can, user serviceable) -OCL Milkman (for tri-lug PCC reasons) So I feel like my bases are covered for now. Even though I’m sure my future is filled with dedicated cans for each threaded firearm
