Looking for a thermal or NV for a 300BO (always subsonic) and/or 22LR. Distances will be 200 yards at the very edge of maximum, most likely significantly under. Target will be armadillos and that sized. I have NV and thermal, both are hand held devices. Nothing that is rifle mountable. Which technology would you go with? What specs would be most beneficial for my use scenario? It’s so easy to overbuy a scope that I will never use to its capabilities. I do not know what my budget is. I’d rather not buy anything than buy something in my budget that I’ll hate because I did not want to extend my budget. |

In 640 the best all around deal going is the RH25V2 IMO. I've had a lot of thermals over the years, all come, most go... The RH25V2 has always stayed. On a temporary price drop currently as well. |
