I'm looking to get some accessories for my next M1 Carbine purchase. I figure if I start getting them now, it will set a fire to my butt and get me to finally get the little gun off of the back burner. I see that Sarco has these surplus mags still in the pouch/bag. What do you guys think of them? I'm being extra cautious because of the burn they gave me on the "tiger stripe" stock that we purchased from them. They look legit, but I would like to make sure before buying 10 of them. GI mags? Also, what about these 30-rounders that are marked as made in the US? I would expect many of the Sarco mags to be somewhat rusty, to very rusty. Non-GI magazines are not worth the trouble. KCI mags are OK, but lightweight and a bit soft. Consider them disposable Keep Shooting makes improved GI style Carbine magazines. They are sturdy, well made, and reliable. Bonus, they are On Sale. I have 4 dozen to compliment a handful of expensive vintage WW-II GI magazines. www.keepshooting.com/ |

I recently bought a few KeepShooting Mil-Spec 15rd M1 Carbine magazines. https://www.keepshooting.com/mil-spec-m1-carbine-15rd-magazine.html I loaded them up with S&B 30 Carbine Rounds, I hope to take the M1 Carbine to the ranch next week and put them through their paces. The only detractor to the KS mags, is that the floor plates and mag bodies are blank, no markings, so the old paint pen solved that issue. |

It's not worth Fulton Armory's time or efforts, but it would be great to have them team up with KeepShooting, and have FA marked M1 Carbine KS Mil Spec 15 round magazines. |
