I have an aftermarket PS90 receiver with an approved Form 1. I was gathering parts when offered a deal for a factory PS90 for less than the remaining parts were going to cost. I want to be able to swap between the factory non-SBR receiver and the aftermarket SBR receiver purchasing a minimum of additional parts. It is my understanding that the pinned factory barrel holds some parts captive (I haven't taken delivery, so I haven't been able to examine it for myself). What parts cannot be swapped between the two receivers due to the pinned barrel? Trying to procure parts quickly since being trapped in communist-occupied Virginia is going to be an issue. |

I have done 2 conversions now following these instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-KeHK_e9xY I'm not sure I 100% understand the question. The shroud needs to be removed so you can unscrew the barrel. After removing the shroud and breaking the barrel free, you insert a cleaning rod or dowel to keep the springs in line. Does that answer the question? |
