I am thinking of an affordable field grade O/U 20ga. The Weatherby Orion seems to tick some boxes for me at around a grand. Automatic ejectors, no auto safety, 4.5lb triggers, 6.2lbs with good balance. Seems like a durable, no frills field gun. https://weatherby.com/store/orion-i/ Anyone have one? Any feedback? I have a friend that has an older Orion that has had many thousands of rounds through it shooting trap and bitd hunting with no issues. I've looked at the newer models and while they look nice I have my doubts they'll hold up like the old ones. |
