Bonus points for the Shaw Sidekick articulating leg strap, negative points for the scrap wrap job. :) Seriously, the MHA could be an uncomfortable sonofabitch. Solid, indestructible, but didn't play nice with your hip or thigh at times. Bang Hanger is Tegris (new version is now CURV), so it flexes instead of digging into your meat, but still very rigid on the draw. Interesting set up in which the shooter has the buckle oriented to the back. This the Tactical Games, so lots of CrossFit type stuff, I suppose it keeps one from getting pinched when bending over sharply or squatting. https://www.instagram.com/p/C76g8RNxW6_/?igsh=MWFjdnhtY3JsY2Nn Attached File |

Has anyone used FSBE MOLLE belt panels on a regular belt? I have put a rifle and pistol magazine pouch on one, and an AK magazine pouch and bayonet on another, but I haven't used either in competition or training. The idea is to just keep a minimal amount of gear in a case that can be used in a pinch. They have Velcro strip on the inside that closes the internal dimensions to the width of a regular belt, but can be opened to slide onto a 2" belt. |

Never seen that before! Thanks for sharing! I've not had any issues with the MHA digging into me yet, but it's mostly been flat range work. I haven't been in this thread in a year or so. Just thought I'd drop a pic since I haven't posted in awhile. Blue Alpha belt, Esstac mag carriers, BFG MTKN! With QC, pressure bandage, compact chest seals, etc. TQ. Ragnarok holster, 5.11 gloves. It suits me well. Simple and comfortable Attached File |

Alright. Looking to get my first belt setup and I’ve been reading this thread for 3 days now. I have the enhanced belt with a double gap pistol and single mid rifle pouch in my cart from esstac. Planning to order the Wilder Tactical neoprene inner also that way I have the option of just throwing it on over whatever I’m wearing or running the esstac inner belt through belt loops. I’m kinda stuck on holster and mounting solution. I think I’m between a GCode XSR or a Tier1Concealed Centurion holster and either RTI or QLS mounting respectively. Any advantages or disadvantages one way or the other? I know it’s not a Safariland ALS but currently budget is a bit of a factor, and those two are essentially half the price of a Safariland setup. The pistol will be a G19 or 45 with TLR7. I’m just not sure of the differences on the retention hood mechanism between the two. Is one better or more durable than the other? Also would like a TQ holder and med pouch on there so I’ll take recommendations for either of those. I have basically zero medical training so I don’t need a full surgical kit or something but I plan to start working on taking some beginner med courses so I figure it wouldn’t hurt to have some basics. Lastly, if there’s any general things to consider when putting together a kit that I may not have thought of, feel free to throw any advice in there. Just a normal guy, not prior or current LE/Mil. Just looking to have something for range time but will be solid enough kit should a serious need every arise. |

Med Ltc Axl Hadley fabrications Those are my favorite 3 from the tons that I've used. Make sure you but the 'insert' Planning on a little bit of both. Basically just general range time. I figure in the future I can pick up a few extra/different pouches and swap them out as necessary if I wanted to add or subtract mags. Not currently planning on switching pistols out often but I may end up changing out a nice in a while, and I figured it would be nice to easily remove the pistol holster if strictly shooting rifle and don’t want to have the pistol on my hip. I ended up finding that T.Rex shows left hand Safariland 6354RDS with a QLS fork in stock. For basically what it would have cost for a Tier1Concealed or GCode. The pricing on Safariland website is what made me shy away from them at first. Belt and pouches inbound from Esstac and 6354RDS on the way from T.Rex. Wallet a little lighter but at least I’ll look cool at the range ![]() |

I just got a gift card to Blue Alpha Gear so it's time for me to upgrade my stuff. I posted my current setup a while back but I'll post it again. I like my current setup but the belt is some cheap thing and I don't even remember where I got it. I'm mostly looking to just upgrade my belt but I'm posting to ask for any recommendations for any Blue Alpha stuff you consider a "must" buy. Attached File Since this pic I went from two double pistol mags to a single triple, move the mag pouches forward for better access to the drop pouch, and added a little mini admin pouch in front of my pistol holster. It's a bit busy but it has everything I want on it. It is primarily a competition belt but also serves as my battle belt. I might use this opportunity to build a dedicated competition belt. |

Maybe doing a tanker style holster with a built in cross-draw knife sheath setup? I can't find a picture of it on my EDC belt, but the method on the left works very well at around 11 o'clock. I can draw with either hand and it sticks fairly close to my abdomen. If you don't have anything that far front it's worth a try. Attached File |
