I'm looking at selling a pre-1899 Winchester. Not only is it old enough, but it also meets that "...ammunition is no longer manufactured in the United States and is not readily available in the ordinary channels of commercial trade." I'm sure have some states have their own weird rules for antique centerfire rifles. Does anybody know which states will be a problem? I have only found references to problems in Chicago and/or all of Cook County plus New Jersey. Thank you! |

Thank you. It’s one of those I have no idea how to price. As a normal “shooting” rifle, so few ever sell. This one is a project but comes with all correct original internals, missing, and damaged parts ready to go. I’ll do that and add a note that I’ll review the state laws for any of the usual suspect states. |
