Has anybody here ever made their own pen gun, or seen anything about design? I think it's finally time to put one together. I did respond to this thread but never heard anything. No big deal, but it's time to research other options. Thanks! |

The benefit of buying one is you save 195 bucks on the stamp... I need to practice cutting threads on the lathe, as I would like to build one with a couple different barrels. They are so simple, I do have one of the flare launcher pens with screw in flares, that would definitely be the easiest route. |

You're better off making it from scratch with 4140 or similar. If you have a lathe and you want to make barrels for it anyway then $195 extra to make the whole thing yourself is well worth it. |
