Any love for the Vortex Viper shotgun mounted enclosed Red Dot? Looks solid and the mount looks simple.

I really like the one I have. I haven't beaten the shit out of it yet but it seems to be holding up pretty well on my SBS.

Also have one mounted on an SBS. Seems like a nice solution. Enclosed dots are preferred on anything that tends to get dirty for me.

I plan on getting one- no issues with open emitters for shooting competitions but I’ve needed to pour water out of it duck hunting, so the enclosed site is appealing.

I ordered the Monstrum BOP because it was cheaper and I was unsure how I’d like it. Won’t get it mounted until after rabbit season closes though.

So follow-up. I got one of the sights and have been using it on a 590A1 18”. Zeroed with slugs. Works great, is small and low to the receiver. No problems; actually a great sight for the $$ invested.
