A few months ago Jack and I sat down and had a great chat about SR-25s. It is a very “informal and relaxed” video, all shot in one take over about 90 minutes and a bottle (or more) of bourbon. There are some cool rifles in here, and Jack knows a thing or two about a thing or two.
There isn’t much editing other than boosting the audio, the cabin wasn’t exactly set up for pro-level video recording. We are talking about maybe doing something similar in the future, but more refined and with even more badass rifles. Firearms Trainers Association (FTA) was the host for us that weekend. They have accounts on FB/IG/YT. I’d appreciate it if you would give them a like/follow/subscribe/whatever as a thank you. History of the Knights Armament SR-25 with Jack Leuba and Jeremy Tye. |
Emotional attachment doesn't trump generational advancements.

This is great stuff. I love these long form videos with guys who have been around KAC for a while, the history of the company and products is fascinating to me.
Great work. |

Enjoyed it. I never knew there was an issue with the original MAMS (24:15) that they designed/submitted.

I swear the SR25 popped up on a very old episode of "Beyond 2000" back in the day.
Memory works really strangely from that era and a big assed 308 AR stands out. I may have been 13-14 in the earlish 90s when that show was around. |

Needs more Wayne's World format

View Quote I think I remember this being discussed previously that they had an issue with having flier rounds that would have a random poi. It would be nice to be able to go reread that discussion but it was deleted with the forum move. Or you know mods could give access to the industry forum archive.. |

Bump to keep out of archives

If someone is interested actually being a mod for this section, I'm open to suggestions. If not, I'll probably see if another armory mod is interested - I'd prefer to have someone a) more active in this section than me and b) more knowledgeable about KAC than me. |

I nominate @tactical_bucket for King Shit of Turd Mountain. We've had two actual volunteers so far. I'll wait a few more in case anyone else wants to throw their name in the hat, and then we'll talk it over in staff. Fair warning, any "swap meet" threads will eventually have to go. I've been told to lock them, but I've asked to wait until we get resolution on whether we can add some EE sections for KAC. That's likely going to be the best I can do for you guys. |

Which threads still alive are considered swap meet at this point?
