Is anyone else having trouble running a background check right now? I have a link stored on my browser directly to the login page for NICS, but for whatever reason today when I click it, my computer just downloads a 57 byte file that opens in Word but is just gibberish. I thought my saved link might be corrupted, so I Googled the proper website and it does exactly the same thing when clicking the link Google provides. I then tried to go through the links in the email I received this morning stating that my password will expire in 14 days, but both of those links just make the computer try to download files. Anyone ever seen something like this happen before, or have I picked up some kind if virus on my computer? All of my other saved links seem to be working properly. Thanks in advance for any insight you guys might have! |

I had just dug out my file folder with that info in it and decided to try the website one last time. It worked just fine that time, so I have absolutely no idea what might have been going on.
