| Anyone have any info on if it’s possible and how to refinish a pistol with a vanta black type color? I want a Platypus and can’t decide on a theme so I’m thinking of doing all black but a bit different. |

| I've played around with low reflective/light absorbing blacks, including Cerakote's LR Black, but they don't really work on firearms. These blacks only look that way if they are dry, clean, and you DO NOT ever touch them. I can touch it with what I think are clean hands and leave a residual fingerprint. And gun oil? Forget it. It turns everything satin. |
