All BC folders have been out of production for some time. Were fairly inexpensive (<$90) when in production, but prices climbing steadily since then. IDK whether the blued or SS model brings higher price. Simple coil spring that allows locking lug to lock should not be hard to replace, and cheaply done, at that. IMHO, likely the best of the common aftermarket folding stocks. IDK what current prices are, (likely over $175) and one will need to watch Ebay and other sites to get an idea. Same BC folder will fit both 181 series and above Mini-14, and all series of Mini-30. Choate Machine and Tool makes a very similar Mini-14 side folder Here Unlike the BC folder, the Choate folding arm is not all-metal under the plastic. Note that Choate does not mention their stock being compatible with the Mini-30. Maybe it is, maybe not, IDK. |
