I never seem to shoot my m16a2. It’s a Colt, burst marked. It’s certainly not new but has never been abused or frankly used heavily. Can someone advise me what the market is for this? If this is the wrong forum my apologies Tony_K.

Depending on condition and what forging it was made with, somewhere between $30 and $40k

$35-40k for a burst marked a2 depending on how she looks.

I sold an m16a2 5 years ago for 33k.  They are a minimum of 40k real sale number (30K is undervalued and I would consider putting the noose around my neck with my wife if you wanted to sell it for that) and I have seen them on Sturmgewehr for 52k.   Granted that is asking price and at those price levels buyers are limited but not many Colt M16A2's go up for sale so that helps you.  I recently listed an M16A1 for 38k on there and had 2 very real offers of 32k.  Ruben is asking 40-42k for Colt M16A1's he has in stock.
