My Obsidian has an endcap strike, didn't blow up, just caused a bulge.  I heard about Unconditional Warranty from Rugged, decided to contact them on their website.   One of the required field is to upload a copy of the government issued identification.

I have sent 2 cans for repair/rebuilt to other manufactures about 10+ years ago, they asked me to send them in with copies of the Form 4, but never my ID.  Not sure if that's the new norm or not, I'm not keyed in on the current regulations.

Can they send me an end cap or Do I need to send it in?

They sent me my first replacement end cap. Told me additional ones would require sending the can in for evaluation. That was 50+ end cap and baffle strikes ago, I’ve never bothered contacting them after the first strike as I’ve no interest in mailing it in.

I can’t 100% remember for sure, but I am almost certain I did have to upload my DL and form 4 for them to even send the first replacement to my house.
