I don't come to this forum often, so apologies if this has been covered before

I bought a .177 Trevox break action pistol, which I will say has a horrible trigger, and I noticed there is a dovetail on it.  I would like to put a pistol type RDS on it, but don't know what the dovetail specs are.  I also know some manufacturers will warranty their RDS, no questions asked, but would like to get one that is less likely to fail with the violent airgun spring piston.

Thanks for your help.

Hawke makes adapters from the typical air gun *dovetail* to Picatinny. Why dovetail and not rail? #shrug

Probably others available, but I've used one on a Marauder pistol and really like it.

Primary Arms makes a pistol sized RDS that clamps on a Picatinny rail.  I will keep looking for other options.
