What is the best option for HK UMP mags? They're tall stick mags and don't fit a chest rig very well. Perhaps a carrier at a 45° slant (like the WWII (that's a two, not eleven) German MP40 rig). What's your suggestions?? |

I think he is referring to a full load carrying solution. IE, a chest rig, but one set up for the extra-long UMP magazines. Like he said, they are longer than, say, a glock happy stick or MP5 magazine. I'm trying to remember who it is, but I saw a split-front chest rig someone made that had MOLLE angled inwards. That and some kind of decent SMG pouch (maybe the tall taco's as mentioned above) would work. |
