Recommend doing it? I have the AWS version of the 6094. I originally swapped on an aftermarket set of cummerbunds, and it was fine. But wanted to keep the original cummerbund, and I sew gear for a living, so I went and modded the right side cummerbund and put a tubes in between the velcro on the front of the commerbund and the rest of the cummerbund. It turned out just what I wanted. Note: I'm not a big plate carrier guy. I obviously have a set or two, but I basically never wear it. I'm really rural in the mountains and I'm big on belt kits, and work from home, so the armor gets relegated to distant secondary in thought. But yes. You can mod the stock cummerbund on that, though the easy answer is to buy an aftermarket cummerbund that comes with tubes already. |

Beez is a better option, and cheaper than what was posted above. I got a BCS skeletal for my Banshee and it is a huge improvement. Much faster (and even quieter, if that matters) on/off, and "repeatable" placement, never too tight or loose, if that makes sense. These days, I see no reason for any PC to not have such a thing. FS tubes are superior to ROC buckles too, in that they can go in from top or bottom, and are easier to handle in that way. |
