Brainstorming a pcc ar pistol with integral suppressor for a fun project. 6 inch or so barrel, ported with three sets of of holes maybe 3x3 or 3x4. Machine a barrel nut to have threads on the exterior for the tube, the barrel would have a ported “support ring” of sorts threaded in to keep the can from flexing off center. After that would be a fairly standard baffle stack. The can would be maybe 12-14 inches long all together. Simplest option would be for a wrap type of hand guard. Thinking of the possibility of a Midwest sp hand guard with a fabbed barrel nut that has the threads fore of the hand guard mounting parts. Besides finding someone to do quality machining and such, do you see any technical issues that jump out? |

My Ruger PCC with integrated suppressor was a flop. The length of barrel for the Takedown latch, couldn't have been suppressed. It was trans-sonic. So I've got long, heavy boat anchor that needs 147's to be acceptable PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Attached File |
