Basically. I built the shelf using MDF sizing it so it will clear the opening when it is swung. The hinge is two dowels and there are four swivel casters on the bottom of the shelf. Incoming paint diagram.
Shelf is in blue, opening is in black. There are probably easier and better ways of doing it but this is just how mine came together. |

| I just redid a basement room using DriCore tiles for the subfloor, and a Pergo type floor from the local home improvement store. It was on clearence. The DriCore tiles are expensive, but I fugured why not do it right the first time. The install was pretty easy, just measure twice, and cut once. |

This is not what is in that pic, but this is what I used: Expandable Weapon Racks Bob Stone was the sales guy, and they were good to work with. Not cheap, but I'll never break them or need to replace anything. I did an entire walk-in closet and I couldn't be happier with it. Here's a part of it:
