That, and it’s a great way to load up a complete box of ammo before getting to the range (one 20, one 30); no problems. I saw the update to this thread and was hoping that someone found 30s in stock; HK mags are expensive! |

The straight mags are a "retro" MP5 thing that just look the part for the early guns. I bought five surplus mags from a company called TAPCO back in the 90s when they sold surplus. I think I got 4 mags and a pouch for $59-$79?ish I didn't have an MP5 then and was building FALs. I sold them off a few years later - thinking I can never own one too expensive and no real clones that were good at the time and FAL mag prices were claiming so I bought more of those The days were G3 mags were as low as a dollar The same sale from TAPCO I also got two AMD-65 kits for $109 with barrels - nobody had AK receivers or well established home build for AKs then. Lesson is BUY and SAVE your HK Surplus when its cheap!!! |
