I just noticed some trigger flop when the hammer is at full cock. I installed a Ranger Point Precision Lever Thumb Screw and noticed my trigger has some "flop" when the hammer is at full cock. At first I thought it was the thumb screw that was causing it so i reinstalled the original screw. Still has Trigger Flop. The trigger originally had very little take up with a 3.5 lb. pull according to my trigger scale. I'm not sure if it always had trigger flop and I am just noticing it now that I changed the Lever Screw. Anyone else with a Henry 30-30 have Trigger Flop and if so have you found a way to remove it? |

| That Henry design looks to be basically a Marlin clone. The Marlin design has trigger flop. My 1895 SBL has it. My Dad’s 40 year old Marlin 336 has it. There are expensive aftermarket Marlin triggers that negate the trigger flop. It doesn’t hurt anything at all. So, I just don’t care about it. |
